NAFL 1912-13 season

The league brought in two extra teams, Caledonians of Newark and a newly-organized Brooklyn Wanderers, to bring the number up to 10. Having trouble finding grounds, the Wanderers merged into Brooklyn F.C. in late December after losing all 6 games they played. The Wanderers were replaced by Newark F.C. who dropped out of the New York State Amateur Association Football League mid-season to return to the NAFL. The league began awarding double points for a match between two clubs instead of not playing or forfeiting a return match. West Hudson won the league with 28 points but Wilberforce and True Blues both ended with 27 points. Those two clubs played an additional match to break the tie for second place. True Blues won that match which technically gave them 29 points. The Scottish-Americans left their usual Newark grounds to play at Harrison Oval in Harrison, N.J.
